Butt Kick Jumps
Instructions
Stand tall with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
Keep a soft bend in your knees.
Push off the ground with both feet at the same time.
As you jump, bend both knees and bring your heels up toward your glutes.
Keep the movement quick and light.
Land softly on both feet.
Bend your knees slightly as you land to absorb the impact.
Reset and repeat.
Common Compensations
Do not arch your low back too much.
Do not let your knees collapse inward when you land.
Do not slam into the floor.
Do not kick so hard that you lose balance.
Do not hold your breath.
Extra Info
You should feel your hamstrings, calves, and legs working.
You should feel light and springy off the ground.
You should not feel sharp pain in the knees, ankles, or low back.
