Double Leg Sauté with Dorsiflexion
Instructions
Stand tall with your feet about hip-width apart.
Push off the ground with both feet at the same time.
As you rise into the hop, pull your toes up toward your shins at the top. This is the ankle dorsiflexion part.
Land softly on both feet.
Let your ankles and knees bend slightly to absorb the landing.
Immediately repeat, again lifting the toes up at the top of each hop.
Common Compensations
Do not land stiff-legged.
Do not let your knees cave inward.
Do not point your toes at the top instead of pulling them up.
Do not jump so high that you lose rhythm or control.
Do not slam into the floor.
Extra Info
